Act 610, the Water Well Drillers License Act, makes it the responsibility of the individual property owner to properly seal an abandoned well when it is taken out of service.  This site provides the guidelines for well abandonment and also a form that must be completed and submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources.  For more information please click on the link below:
