3/17/22 - The Authority has awarded a contract to Blooming Glen Contractors, to construct and install three ion-exchange treatment systems with associated treatment buildings, associated internal and external piping, site work, electrical and HVAC work.  The work will be performed at three separate locations: Well 10, Well 17 and Well 21.  A construction schedule for the work has not yet been established due to ongoing supply chain issues associated with COVID.  In the meantime, and prior to the start of construction contractors may be noticed performing preconstruction video-taping.  This is a requirement of the project contract in order to document existing conditions throughout the work area and ultimately ensure that the area is properly restored.  Email updates on this project are available by signing up on our website, completing the appropriate form and selecting “Well 10, 17 and 21 – PFAS Treatment systems”.
